We were originally using Yayoi Accounting Professional for two users, but because the system was used by connecting two computers without using a server, we felt it was inconvenient because we could not use the main computer when we were away from it. Also, since the number of people who wanted to use the accounting software increased to four, we decided to introduce Yayoi Accounting Network (for five users). When introducing this, we had to consider whether to have an in-house server or to use the cloud.

Since everyone was working on a laptop, cloud management, which could be used from a distance, was convenient, but the problem was that it was inevitably more expensive than having an in-house server.

Hokkaido Bussan Kosha (Sapporo City), a manufacturer and seller of processed foods, introduced applippli Cloud (Yayoi Sales) in order to share sales data as a result of an M&A.

In 2018, our company decided to acquire Shimukappuyama Village Industrial Promotion Corporation, a shiitake mushroom processing company in Shimukappu Village. When we asked the local person in charge about their sales management method, we learned that they use Yayoi Sales, send sales slips to the parent company, and manage those slips in Excel. We felt that the current management method was prone to human error and that sales status could not be shared immediately, so we decided to search the Internet for a way to make use of Yayoi Sales, which Shimukappuyama Village Industrial Promotion Corporation had been using, and streamline sales management operations.

While searching for “Yayoi Sales” on the Internet, I came across your website and sent an email to inquire. I remember being hesitant when I found out that you were a company in Kyushu, far away from us. I also inquired about similar services with companies in Hokkaido, but although they could connect to a network, their products were limited to the computers that could be used, so I decided to introduce “applippli Cloud.”

We upgraded the Yayoi Sales Professional that we were originally using to a Network 3 license so that three people can log in at the same time in our offices in Sapporo and Shimukappu Village.

It’s very helpful because we can immediately see the local sales situation. The president can check the sales situation even when he’s out, so he can use his time more effectively.
